Flash websites have always been known to have serious issues with search engines. It’s no wonder that popularity of flash sites are declining rapidly. Any major website that wants to be found on search engines such as Google, knows the fundamental flaws of pure Flash content.

Research also suggests that when customers visit a website they want to find information quickly and efficiently. Fancy animations when navigating through content while aesthetically pleasing at first, within seconds can become a huge frustration to the user.

Advanced Web Designs have always been adamant to our customers with the issues of using Flash. This is the number one reason why we have tried to stay away from it as much as possible. Clients coming to us with Flash in mind have always changed their mind when we’ve spoken about our experiences and research.

There is nothing wrong with elements of Flash, but pure Flash websites will damage your visits severely. Unless you are planning to spend thousands of pounds on marketing your website in other advertising mediums, you may never get the visits. What is the point of having website if very few will ever get to see it?

It is also worth noting that if you choose have a full Flash website, by law you must have a HTML version built for people with disabilities.

Advanced Web Designs will build your website from the ground up using trusted technology with search engines as a number one priority. Some website design companies create full Flash websites or websites which lack fundamental and rather simple search engine techniques, and then sell expensive contracts for Search Engine campaigns.
