‘TBIS’ as the project became know in the office, approached us to update their existing dated and ‘none-responsive’ website, with a more modern, responsive site aimed at improving the number of online enquiries they receive.
They wanted to get across the fact they are a family run business, but also to ensure the website provided the perception of the larger professional company they are.
It was also important to TBIS that they could encourage potential customers to request a quotation, whilst at the same time gather enough information to provide a more accurate price.
So there needed to be a balance between the amount of information required, and the ease in which website visitors could provide that information.
We created a set of characters representing a customer and the two owners of the family run business to use within illustration through the website, creating a brand that can equally be used in the non-digital world.
In order to be more accurate with their initial quotation we developed an image lead, quick and simple 8 step questionnaire which provided TBIS with enough information to enable them to make recommendations on the type of boiler required, and therefore provide a more accurate initial quotation.
TBIS also have very good ratings and reviews across all the main trade review websites including Checkatrade.com and Which? Trusted Traders. As this independent information helps support the claims of ‘great service’ made by TBIS on their website, we ensured links to the relevant pages were prominent on the site, and we also added a dynamic statistics feature showing the breakdown of scores from Checkatrade.com.
