Firefox overtakes Internet Explorer in Europe

In March 2009, Microsoft lost its Internet Explorer 7 market leadership to Mozilla with the ever rising Firefox 3 web browser. While the change in market share is explained by the upgrading to Internet Explorer 8, more and more people are making the change in general.

The gap is closing and it may not be too long before Firefox overtakes Internet Explorer across all versions. This change goes along a similar (although not as raging) lines as the Netscape demise in the early part of the decade.
