Sublime Gardens started off as a landscape garden company before expanding their services into other areas, including the design and build of garden rooms and supply of winter fuels.
Following a presentation about responsive design at a local BNI networking meeting the owner of the business approached us regarding the re-design and development of his existing website.
As a company, Sublime Gardens initially only offered a landscaping service to local customers, but having won an award for the for a garden that included the construction of a garden room, the company began to expand into this and other areas, including the supply of winter fuel and the design and build of Shepherds Huts.
As well as a modern responsive design, the customer also needed a logo and wanted the website to equally promote each of the four main services offered.
The website needed to be easy to navigate as many of the customers he targeted are not particularly computer-savvy, not too wordy and have easy to update features such as testimonials, image galleries and a blog.
We firstly came up with a logo which concentrated on the SG part of the company name, but which would also work when associated across the four main service areas offered. In order to then differentiate between each service, we also designed unique and separate icons to represent each one.
A separate page going into more detail about each services was developed, which together with the individual service icons, ensured that each of the services offered received the same priority.
A small ecommerce shop was developed to help sell the winter fuel and accessories associated with the other areas of the business.
To ensure the website was kept current, we also included testimonials, news and gallery onto the main navigation menu which along with all the other pages on the website, can be easily updated via the customers intuitive, bespoke content management system.
