New Websites From Team AWDBy Gareth

We’ve been hugely busy this year and are well aware that updates to our own website have been put somewhat on the backburner. Whilst the re-design and development of the Advanced Web Designs website was initially planned for the summer, along with our new ‘all singing all dancing’ Content Management System ‘Konnex’, the work has now had to be rescheduled for the winter, although due to the number of new enquiries we are currently receiving this may be delayed even further. With this in mind we have today taken the time to update our project portfolio so potential customers can see examples of some of the site we have been working on over the past few months. The projects we have added are a mix of e-commerce websites and content managed sites, all uniquely designed and developed by our in-house team here in Hertford (please note that at the time of writing 3 of the projects listed below are still awaiting the customer to fully populate their site prior to going live).

Maximising talents for the industryBy Gareth

When we started in 1999, the industry was very different. Websites were static and lacked the ability to make changes unless you were knew HTML code. It was a time when there were packages that could help you along the way, but they were difficult to use and fairly limited. It was a day when Microsoft FrontPage was a good competitor to Macromedia Dreamweaver but was starting to be left behind.

AWD have had an incredibly busy summer this year which has also continued through to the autumn. As expected, people are now preparing for Christmas and launches of their websites as well as targeted releases that stretch into the New Year.
