| Brochure Style Websites - A detailed explanation of what a Brochure Style Website is. |
Brochure Style Websites
A brochure style website is, as the name suggests, an online brochure used to promote a business’s products and/or services. These styles of website are considered to be ‘static’ and therefore the most basic in the sense that the information held on them can only be updated by going back to your website designer. They are therefore best suited to businesses whose products and or services are unlikely to change very often.
This style of website is also the simplest and quickest to develop (using standard ‘Hyper Text Mark-up Language’ or ‘html’) and is therefore the cheapest of the three main styles of website commonly used.
It is for this reason that many small businesses and start-up businesses opt for this style of website, although it is worth knowing that websites of this style can often be easily upgraded to either Content Managed websites and/or E-commerce websites as the business grows and the necessity for such functionality increases. |
