Tot Friendly approached Advanced Web Designs to develop a guide and directory website for family days out and child friendly holidays.  The site is aimed for families with babies and children under the age of 5.

The design needed a colourful presentation while maintaining a professional look and high usability.  We achieved this very goal from the initial design stage right through the development as more features and pages were added.

In addition to the design, there were detailed technical requirements that needed to be achieved.  The site offers a highly comprehensive search engine in both the Quick Search and Advanced Search pages.  Using technology such as AJAX we were able to narrow down the search criteria ‘on the fly’ thus making it easier for viewers to find the results they were looking for.

In addition to the technical accomplishments reached in the Tot Friendly development, many other features are also available for visitors to take advantage of. Viewers can sign up for a free membership to the site allowing them to add their own content such as products and reviews. Visitors are also able to receive the newsletter campaign that is sent out monthly.

The true potential of the web has been realised since the launch of Tot Friendly.  We have now begun working on stage two to allow even more exceptional features to an already great site.
