Northaw Fisheries Management Ltd is a company set up by some enthusiastic anglers to run a fishing lake called Hook Lake. The people involved wanted a website that would not only offer information to potential members but would also keep current members up-to-date with information such as catch reports and work party dates.

The site also has a photo gallery to encourage members to send in photographs of their catches. This photographic record of the fish stock also helps the company manage the fishery.
